A man took control of a vulnerable foreign national’s passport and bank details before making him work 12-hour shifts for little or no pay. Michail Charitonov, of Cannon Street in Wisbech, forced the man to sleep on a camper van mattress and use a curtain for a blanket. Full story here: https://bit.ly/2FSDrtF

A prisoner who launched a series of attacks on prison officers and a fellow inmate has had more than two years added to his sentence. Simeon Langford was serving an 11-year sentence in HMP Whitemoor, March, for a serious assault when the attacks happened. Langford, 35, approached another inmate and threatened to ‘knock him out’ following a dispute over a food container on 2 November 2017. Full story here: https://bit.ly/2SaAcEs

A would-be burglar who was caught in the act claimed he was actually looking for his dog. Martin Rogers, 24, got into the garden of a house in Colvile Road, Wisbech, via a side gate at about 5.30am on Sunday, 7 July, 2017. Full story here: https://bit.ly/2S5q7sA
