Members of an organised crime gang which committed more than 200 burglaries in an 11-month crime spree have been jailed for a total of 71 years. The gang, who raided homes and businesses across the region, including nearly 100 in Cambridgeshire, costing victims more than £2 million, were convicted earlier this year. A delivery driver who killed a young father-to-be in a crash on the A1307 has been jailed. Ricardas Taraska was driving at 3.17am on 29 August the year when he hit a motorcyclist travelling towards the Dean Road crossroads near Linton. Taraska was jailed for 14 months and disqualified from driving for 31 months, after which he must take an extended driving re-test. Read more at:
