Elderly lady in Coates suffered from distraction burglary – man offering guttering maintenance at front whilst another gained entry in the rear, cash and valuables taken, elderly lady 85+ – check with your neighbours.
That said one of my neighbours 94 & 92 open their door to anyone who comes….
irrespective of weekly chats with them (partly being lonely).
