Blow me down with a feather – I am sooo haaappy – yesterday, we had not one but two Anglian Water Vans on our small estate, 3+ hours carrying out maintenance, flushing all the sewage drains out and re-seating the manhole covers. I did offer them a cup of tea, but they had their own – Thanks Guys.
After they left – the Large road sweeper came along – we don’t see him very often either.
Next a bloke in a Highways marked vehicle turned up – he didn’t get out of his car to see the ever increasing and getting bitter potholes – but what the heck he came a looked at something.
Finally the grass cutting contractors came and did their bit (after the road sweeper) and made a fair enough job – after last years very poorly managed events.
So I almost celebrated….but lets not get carried away.
The next major on -going issue is that of Vehicles using High Causeway (again and again).
